UK Clothing Imports in 1st Quarter 2017: Categories (Quarterly Report)

The sharp fall of the pound after the Brexit vote has deeply disrupted the UK's clothing import market, with prices sharply rising in Sterling terms and shipments plunging in volume terms, as reflected by our report. Strong differences may be observed depending on HS 4-digit categories. Statistical tables are published with volume, value and unit value changes in GBP and USD terms, covering 61 and 62 HS chapters (knit and woven clothing). The full table is also available for download with historical data from 1st quarter 2012.
