UK Clothing Imports in 1st Quarter 2020: Origins (Quarterly Report)

2020-07-09 21:09:06| EmergingTextiles.com

UK's apparel imports have dropped significantly in the first quarter in volume terms, as unit values were surging in the meantime. Bangladesh has become the largest supplier to the detriment of a retreating China, especially in woven clothing categories. Imports of T-shirts have surged, whereas shipments of woven shirts were plummeting. Our new quarterly report covers UK's clothing imports per origin, including knit clothing, woven clothing, and total clothing imports. Data are released in volume, and in British pounds. All data are available for download in five different CSV files.
