US Apparel Imports in 2nd Quarter 2020: Categories (Statistical Report)

US cotton apparel imports have fallen more significantly in the second quarter of the year than man-made fiber apparel imports. The shift by US buyers from cotton to cheaper man-made fiber apparel has been accelerated during the pandemic to limit the reduction in Chinese sourcing. Our series of statistical tables offer a comprehensive view of volume, value, and unit value changes, compared with previous second quarters in 2015-20. Quarterly data from 1st quarter 2011 are available for download in a comprehensive table.
