US Apparel Imports in 2nd Quarter 2020: Origins (Statistical Report)

Although the U.S. apparel imports have been halved in the second quarter, as a result of the pandemic, China's share of the market has slightly increased in volume terms thanks to a 20% fall in its unit prices. The US buyers have accepted to lower their quality requirements to keep a large part of their sourcing in Chinese hands. Our quarterly report details shipments to the U.S. market per origin, with volume and value changes, market shares, and unit value variations in the last five years. Quarterly data covering the Q2 2011-20 period are available for download.
