US Apparel Imports in Jan-Sep 2019: China vs. Rest of World (Quarterly Report)
2019-11-21 20:13:40| EmergingTextiles.com
China has lost shares of the US apparel import market in the first three quarters of the year, especially when its shipments have tumbled over a rise of US tariffs in September. Chinese suppliers have resisted in man-made fiber apparel categories, whereas imports of cotton apparel from other nations were surging. It is reflected by our statistical review comparing US apparel imports from China with shipments from the Rest of the World (RoW) for every category of products, in volume, value, and unit value terms. Historical data cover the first three quarters in the past five years, from 2014-2019.
