US Apparel Imports in Jan-Sep 2020: China vs. Rest of World (Quarterly Report)

2020-11-24 20:08:56| EmergingTextiles.com

China's share of the US apparel import market plunged significantly in the first three quarters of the year, due to a fall in volume terms aggravated by a 20% decline in Chinese unit prices. Even Chinese shipments of man-made fiber apparel have not resisted the negative impact of the pandemic and of higher US tariffs. Our quarterly report compares US apparel imports from China with shipments from the Rest of the World (RoW) for every category of products, in volume, value, and unit value terms. Historical data cover the first three quarters in the past five years, from 2015-20.
