Research Control® SRD series of digital valve positioners provide real-time performance statistics and include explosion-proof SRD 960 and intrinsically safe SRD 991 models. Research Control SRI series, also available, comprises analog valve positioners. Used to reduce adverse effects of on-line valve friction, SRD/SRI positioners consequently enable higher thrust and shorter positioning time.
