Designed for process control applications that demand high levels of safety, intrinsically safe Series 3731 requires single rotary pushbutton for start-up. Enclosure has separate terminal compartment, allowing direct cable entry or connection without spark barriers for cable conduit systems. If explosive atmosphere forms inside enclosure and ignites, enclosure will prevent passage of flames out to explosive surroundings.
