Verizon to launch residential 5G broadband service in 3-5 markets in 2018

(Telecompaper) Verizon announced that it will launch fixed wireless broadband services for residential customers in 3-5 US markets next year. The company plans to use an early version of 5G for the services, the same as AT&T is testing in several cities.
