Vietnam apparel exports have further surged this year, thanks to a sharp rise in sales to other Asian countries like Japan, South Korea and China. Foreign investors are now attracted by the just completed free trade agreements with the European Union on one side and a series of Pacific countries on the other side. Although confronted with higher production costs, Vietnam will take advantage of its future duty-free access to many markets in the coming years. Our report includes Vietnam's latest clothing export data per month and destination and provides comprehensive data for US imports per quota category and EU imports per HS 4-digit categories over the 2011-2017 period.
