Model MAX14920, 12-channel analog front-end ICs are available in 64-pin, 10 mm² TQFP package and MAX14921, 16-channel units come in 80-pin, 12 mm² TQFP. Both operate over -40 to +85°C temperature range. Maximizing accuracy of cell voltage readings through common-mode level shifting and high-precision amplifier, ICs provide cell voltage measurements of up to ±0.5 mV and manage up to 16 battery cell packs. Units help lengthen life of rechargeable Li-Ion battery packs in UPS systems and more.
