It can't be stressed enough how important training is in the wastewater industry. But as workforce challenges grow and technology advances, the way to communicate knowledge must evolve and adapt. At the 2026 WWETT Show, Joseph Blackman, owner of Vitendo Training Solutions, spoke about this shift in his session titled "Let's Make a Dirty Movie!" Embracing Video to Train Wastewater Professionals." Blackman stressed that the industry must modernize training to preserve expertise and better prepare the next generation of operators.
