Walmex sells Suburbia clothing unit for US$853.3m

Supermarket retailer Wal-Mart de Mexico, known locally as Walmex, has agreed to sell its Surburbia apparel division to Mexico's biggest department store chain, El Puerto de Liverpool SAB, for MXN15.7bn (US$853.3m) in a move it says will allow it to focus on its core business.
