A winter weather advisory will take effect starting 4 p.m. Sunday as a third wave of a winter storm arrives in Carson Valley. Snow accumulations of 2-4 inches are expected on Sunday night in the Valley, with 4-8 inches forecast for above 5,000 feet by Monday morning.
