The systems are Linux based and are developed in C using the SMP standard and the ESAESOC SIMSATSIMULUS suite. As a team leader, the role includes the allocation of work to more junior team members, supporting and monitoring their work, and reporting progress as well as problems to the project manager. English documentation and effective support to customer onsite is also required.
