This position is based in our Headquarters in Europahaus in Darmstadt, Germany. It is fulltime and permanent and expected starting date will be earliest August 2019. ResponsibilitiesDuties The lead software engineer will participate in all aspects of the software life cycle from design through development, support and reengineering, validation and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high quality reliable software to satisfy our demanding customers. The systems are Linux based and are developed in C using the SMP standard and the ESAESOC SIMSATSIMULUS suite. As a team leader, the role includes the allocation of work to more junior team members, supporting and monitoring their work, and reporting progress as well as problems to the project manager. English documentation and effective support to customer onsite is also required.
