For our activities in the European Space Agency, we are currently seeking to employ a highly motivated and enthusiastic Image Processing for Promotion of Earth Observation. Tasks This task will support ESA to communicate on EO exploitation, by illustrating scientific and application achievements of the EO Programs through image processing for promotion related activities. For this support task, the contractor will collect and elaborate promotion material from various sources. He will execute the following main types of work packages Selection of images to be ordered and identification of possible data sources, Ordering and processing of data, Production of animated images, presentations, improvement of image quality in view of publication, Caption drafting. He will maintain contacts with various internal interfaces and ensure collaborations with other satellite data providers. Qualifications and Requirements University Degree in geoinformatics and Remote Sensing degree or cartography and RS, or Geography and RS, or geology and RS, or Graphics and RS, or similar Expertise in EO data processing, Experience in using EO data catalogues, Expertise in satellite applications Optical and radar, knowledge of the following software tools Envi, Photoshop, Flash, GIS Tools, 3D visualization. Good knowledge of English spoken, written. Demonstrated creative skills through the presentation of a book collection of previous production. Other Skills Demonstrated ability to work autonomously under constraints of rush production, proactive approach to problem identification and resolution, able to manage several tasks in parallel and to priorities, Flexibility, ability to plan and report, good team working skills.
