Current Sensors/Transformers measure wide range of currents.

2013-09-23 14:31:38| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

By accurately transforming them from high to low measurable values, 5300 series measures range of AC currents. Current sensors have primary current range of 3.5–800 A and come in several types of current transformers, including low phase/high accuracy and high frequency. Current transformers have 20–100 kHz operating range and can be totally encapsulated, with or without wound primary turns and loading resistor. All products are built to meet relevant UL, ANSI, VDE, CE, and MIL standards. UK government rejects current Severn barrage plans

2013-09-18 14:16:00| Climate Ark Climate Change & Global Warming Newsfeed

Guardian: Plans for a tidal barrage generating power on the Severn estuary were dealt a further blow on Wednesday when the government ruled out proceeding on current plans. However, ministers said if major changes were made to the scheme, with new environmental studies and reassurances over financing and technology, it could be revived and given serious consideration. The only current proposals for a barrage come from Hafren Power, which has the backing of the former Welsh secretary Peter Hain, which...

AC/DC Millivolt Data Logger features current clamp input.

2013-09-17 14:30:29| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

When used with current clamp, AC/DC Millivolt Data Logger measures and stores up to 127,232 AC and DC current readings over 0–1,000 A DC measurement range (0–723 A for AC). In Energy Monitoring mode, data is converted into power, cumulative energy, and cumulative cost, while AC and DC millivolt measurement mode allows for direct measurement of voltage up to 1 Vdc (700 mVac). Powered by 2 AA batteries, meter also includes 4 mm banana plug inputs and USB interface for setup and download of data.
