Firm's cancer drugs strategy

Abingdon-based biotechnology firm Immunocore is aiming to make its radical cancer treatment drugs commercially available to patients in the next four years, said the new chief executive officer, Eliot Forster. Dr Forster, who joined the company in January, said: "I would anticipate that, within the next three or four years, we would be selling our lead molecule to patients."

A study published Thursday in JAMA Oncology aims to answer that question by examining necitumumab, an experimental lung cancer drug made by Eli Lilly & Co. The drug isn't approved yet, and Eli Lilly has not set a price.

Rock Tang , the former head of real estate in Hawaii for Longs Drugs and Walgreens, has been hired by Hawaiian Airlines as its senior director of corporate real estate, the state's largest airline recently announced. In his new role at Hawaiian Airlines, he is responsible for managing the Honolulu-based company's corporate real estate interests, including its business relationships with domestic and international airports, lease negotiations, concessions, properties, projects and construction, facility planning and design.
