Carbon PEEK ferrule deforms when stainless steel nut is tightened and stainless steel triangular ferrule clamps onto tubing at same time to increase sealing pressure. Both stainless steel parts are reusable, while carbon PEEK ferrule must be replaced when fitting is removed or loosened.
