Security Engineer for Galileo Deployment Activities

Position Reference 711 We are currently looking for a Security Engineer to Galileo Deployment Activities to provide support for the acceptance of new releases of the ground segment procured by ESA through a GSAESA Working Arrangement as well as the followup of the security aspects of the space segment deployed by ESA. This position is based in Prague, Czech Republic. The European GNSS Agency GSA is responsible for operations, service provision, security and market development for the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems GNSS EGNOS and Galileo. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support to the follow up of security design and implementation of new Review and analysis of the Galileo security documentation provided for new releases of the ground segment. Support to the evaluation of security functionalities provided for new releases of the ground segment. Support to the assessment of the impact of changes of new releases of the ground segment on the security baseline. Review of the planning and security risks associated to the deployment of new releases of the ground segment. Review the security aspects of the space segment deployed by ESA, Followup the planning of actions undertaken by ESA under delegation by the Commission with respect to the infrastructure research and development activities under Horizon 2020. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters Degree in a relevant technical domain. A minimum of 5 years of experience working performing the above tasks mentioned. Experience on Galileo ground segment release. Excellent command of both written and spoken English Organised, dynamic and proactive. In possession of security clearance at EU Secret level. Security Engineer for GSOp activities

Position Reference We are currently looking for a Security Engineer for GSOp activities to work at GSAs HQ premises in the city of Prague, Czech Republic. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support to the analysis, review and update the GSOp security baseline according to the different Galileo service milestones and system infrastructure upgrades. Support to the review, analysis and update of the securityrelated documentation, classified or not physical security, COMSEC, cybersecurity and including PRS. Support to GSOp reviews i.e. Galileo Infrastructure Release. Support to the management of GSOp classified activities, including classified anomalies and incidents, and related risk management. Support to the followup of the current Galileo security operations contracts, including for remote site hosting entities, and assess the impact of changes on the security baseline and security operations on the GSOp contract for subsequent risk management. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in a relevant field. Minimum 5 years of experience. Previous Galileo experience especially in GSOp activities. To be organised, dynamic and proactive. Good communication and diplomatic skills. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. We are currently looking for a Programme Coordinator for University Student Activities to support our customer in the Netherlands. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the European Space Education Resource Office at ESAESTEC, you will have the following responsibilities Support the preparation and the publication of the Call for Proposals for the student experiments, the review and the evaluation of the proposals, and the experiments selection process Liaise with the partners andor with the organisations which are involved in the conduct of the student experiment programmes universities, space agencies, industries, or other associations, and ESA colleagues Liaise with the student teams involved in the experiment programmes, to ensure they receive the due financial or logistics support Coordinate the technical supervision of the experiment projects with the support of professional specialists from ESA and the other partners, as available, to ensure compliance to requirements, applicable standards, and good space engineering practice Supervise the preparation and conduct of project meetings, project reviews, test campaigns, and of workshops or conferences Assist Young Graduate Trainees assigned to the programmes in subject. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree at least at MSc level in Space Systems Engineering, or equivalent Experience in the management of space projects ideally for sounding rocket stratospheric balloon experiments and small satellites Good coordination skills to effectively work on contributions from several different parties Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all stakeholders ESA, the involved international partners, industry, academia and students Knowledge of the university student programmes conducted by ESAs Education Office is mandatory Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
