Commission and bring up new embeddedprocessor boards, including design and implementation of board Basic Software. Define and implement PCbased software for support and verification of software implemented on embedded processors, including GUI. Support internal improvement activities. Participate in the preparation of technical proposals in response to space agencies or other funding institutions, and awarded R Drivers Embedded Software Development.Proven experience in developing Software using ANSIC, C.Experience with the Development of Robotic Systems in one or more of the following speciality areas Robotic Control Operating Systems RCOS, Machine Vision, Control, KinematicsDynamics, Path Planning and Navigation, manipulation, artificial intelligence and machine learning, humanrobot interaction.Experience with any of the following types of system is highly beneficial embedded, realtime, multithread, multiprocessormulticore systems.Practical experience of RealTime embedded Operating Systems RTOS Embedded SW experience close to the hardware and RTOS is a must.Practical experience of using Windows, UNIX, Linux operating systems.Familiarity with space software engineering processes and European standards e.g. ECSS.Fluent level in English.Please apply on line for this vacancy on line at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached. Maine's Jackson Laboratory Gets $800,000 for Aging Studies

Maine's two senators, Republican Susan Collins and independent Angus King, said the grant for $835,037 from the Department of Health and Human Services will help the laboratory in Bar Harbor continue its research on the aging process. The money is going to the Nathan Shock Center of Excellence in the Basic Biology of Aging at the Jackson Laboratory.
