Sentinels AstroDynamics Engineer 1623103 Job Description We are looking for a Flight Dynamics Engineer for our client ESOC. You will be part of the Sentinels Flight Dynamics Team CopernicusSentinels Operations Teams. The primary areas of responsibility are the AOCS Monitoring, Command Generation and Mission Planning. Your tasks will focus on the following Support the Flight Dynamics Operations within Sentinels team, routine and special operations including LEOP and deorbiting Sentinels Flight Dynamics software exploitation, operation and maintenance Support to Sentinels launch campaigns FD system tests, simulations to prepare and validate operational support Oncall, and eventually call in, support to support potential collision avoidance manoeuvres Generic flight dynamics support to other Sentinels Ground segment systems and teams FCT, SIM officer, ground stations, ... Required Skills and Experience Required background in mathematics, mechanics and dynamics Mature problem solving skills Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Familiarity with operational training Familiarity with programmingscripting languages, its operation, exploitation and maintenance Previous experience in ESOC FD in the specified subdomains Familiarity with FD systems Familiarity with ESOC FD infrastructure software used for Sentinels Experience in coordination of FD operations support for earth Observation missions Experience working with operational missions in AOCS monitoring and command generation and in particular previous experience with CopernicusSentinels missions Desirable Skills and Experience Experience in working in an operational environment Familiarity with FORTRAN programming language Experience in operational training Familiarity with the ESOC working environment and Quality Management System QMS Experience with prelaunch activities and launch campaigns of satellites.
