Leichtman Research Group (LRG) has found that the thirteen largest pay-TV providers in the US -- about 95% of the market -- lost about 470,000 net video subscribers in 2Q 2015, compared to a loss of about 305,000 video subscribers in 2Q 2014.

India adds 610,000 active DTH subscribers in 1Q 2015

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released telecom indicators for the quarter ending 31st March, 2015. At the end of the period, the total numbers of registered and active DTH subscribers were 76.05 million & 41.15 million respectively.

Slovakia ends 2014 with more than 1 million DTH subscribers

According to Slovakia's communications regulator (RÚ), at the end of 2014 Slovakia had more than one million subscribers to pay TV via satellite. In addition there were 470 thousand subscribers to cable TV and 244 thousand to IPTV.

DISH Network (NASDAQ: DISH) has reported second quarter 2015 results. DISH pay TV subscribers (including Sling TV) declined approximately 81,000 in the second quarter compared to a loss of approximately 44,000 in the second quarter 2014.
