ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY This role serves as a contact person in the Playout Operation area for Engineering and Customer Service departments. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the broadcast as well as the 1st and 2nd level support. You will provide service monitoring, single channel monitoring as well as multichannel monitoring for more than 50 channels. In addition, the Playout Operator handles special broadcasts, live broadcasts and changes requested by the customer. Bredband2 makes buy-out offer for A3 to create operator with 15% of Sweden's fibre connections

(Telecompaper) Swedish data communication and security services provider Bredband2 said it has issued a public buy-out offer to shareholders in telecommunications operator A3. The offer has been accepted by holders of nearly 72 percent of shares. The merged company with approximately 450,000 fibre connections and a 15 percent market share would be led by Bredband2 CEO Daniel Krook and there is likely to be some staffing overlap.

EQT buys data centre operator EdgeConnex

(Telecompaper) Private investment company EQT has agreed to buy data centre operator EdgeConneX from an investor group led by Providence Equity Partners. No financial details were provided for the deal, expected to close sometime in the fourth quarter. An earlier report from Bloomberg put the takeover price at at least USD 2.5 billion.
