Package description Highly competitive salary Corporate Benefits Package Relocation Assistance if applicable Further information available from the Serco Europe Recruitment Team Main responsibilities The ideal candidate will concentrate his her activities on the following Helpdesk tasks PFMS installation, incident handling, ensuring support to application maintenance, preparation and performance of the training Demo to users in ESOC Application maintenance Installation and upgrade of COTS Setup and configure the client PCs to optimize the running of the PFMS client Periodically check that PFMS application is accessible through the network Support to Document Management Collaborative Tool Synchronization between PFMS DB instances across ESA sites Maintenance on the DB table structure and data integrity constraints DB performance tuning Maintenance of DB security, DB activity monitoring and auditing DB backuprestore policy management CreationManagement of scripts supporting DB backuprestore activity Start incident management for any DB failure Documentation Management of technical documentation Tracking of the versions of any document under Sercos responsibility Update of QMS for any documentation change with impact on it. Interface to esap ESA SAP Export of utilisation data to esap Import of utilisation data from esap Support to Monthly Manpower and Facility Bookings. Ideal candidate The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience Essential for the position is the following Visual CC, MFC, Visual BasicVBA, Windows SDK and JEE JSF programming at least 2 to 3 years hands on experience In depth knowledge of Oracle Capability of developing Oracle applications using PLSQL this includes writing Packages and Stored procedures Capability of embedding Oracle PLSQL code within CC or Java code Good knowledge of MS Office Suite to include Access, Excel, Word Advance knowledge of developing Tableau Dashboards Good communication skills Strong interpersonal skills, selfmotivation and ability to work in a team The successful candidate must be capable of writing Administrator and User Manuals in English. Computer Science degree or equivalent experience The following is desirable SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence BI Able to migrate data from different systems Capable of setting up, administrating and tuning Oracle databases Knowledge of Windows Server administration Experience of release management.
