TalkTalk adds 44,000 broadband customers in Q3 to reach 4.29 million

(Telecompaper) UK telecoms company TalkTalk added 44,000 broadband customers in the third quarter of FY 2019, compared to 24,000 in Q2 and 37,000 customer additions in the year-earlier third quarter. It registered double-digit growth in both consumer and B2B, taking the total customer base to 4.29 million.

(Telecompaper) UK telecoms provider TalkTalk Group has confirmed plans to relocate its headquarters from London to Salford to support its next phase of growth. It has also announced the creation of a new company called FibreNation to roll out full-fibre broadband to three million homes and premises. The news comes as TalkTalk published interim results showing a seventh consecutive quarter of growth, adding more than 100,000 customers over the six months.
