Indonesia Apparel Exports in 1st Quarter 2019 (Quarterly Report)

Indonesian apparel exports have again suffered from the rise of labor costs in the country, in the first quarter of 2019. A rebound in exports to the US market has been short-lived, whereas sales to the European markets, Japan and South Korea have stagnated. Shipments to China are this year rocketing, however from a small level. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive view of Indonesia's clothing exports in the 1st quarter 2015-2019, including volume, value, and unit value changes per destination. A set of indices offers a 4-year approach. Knit, woven, and total apparel exports are separately displayed. All data are available for download.

Cashmere Fiber and Yarn Prices in China (Quarterly Report)

Cashmere prices have eventually declined in the first half this year, over a weakness in demand after rates have excessively surged in the last year. Fiber and yarn exports are declining, as a result. However, cashmere prices were rebounding in the previous days in Mongolia. Our report offers an overall picture of short-term and long-term trends of the cashmere market, including China's exports of fiber and yarns, with volume, value, and unit prices. Italy's cashmere imports from China are also displayed. Historical data covering the last two years (China) and five years (Italy) are available for download.
