Specific tasks The general responsibilities of the service will be technical support in the area of GNSS and SBAS System Performance and Technology Development. Task 1 Engineering Support to SBAS mission definition and evolution activities including support to Ensure the consistency of EGNOS system performance requirements specification Integrity, Continuity, Accuracy, Availability, compliance and qualification across the division, especially with Mission, PASafetySecurity and Development teams Establish the traceability, statements of compliance and deviations from higher level requirements documents, including MRD and SPRD and applicable technical standards, regarding performance requirements specify performance related System Requirements, participation in the related Change Control Boards for Mission and System Task 2 Engineering support to the management of EGNOS procurement process and following up industrial activities concerning performancerelated aspects including performance requirements compliance, qualification and flowdown, design description and justification Task 3 Engineering support to EGNOS System Performance Principal Engineer to ensure EGNOS V3 qualification with respect to System performance requirements, Critical assessment of EGNOS Prime FaultFree and ICAS Performance Qualification Strategy PQS and associated test definition e.g. methodology, configuration, passedfailed criteria, etc and implementation Critical assessment of tests results and compliance Review of System Performance Compliance Traceability Task 4 Engineering support to the coordination with EGNOS Development AIV, SPVP and Tools teams and especially with the technical officers in charge of all NAVchain components RIMS, site, CPF, NLES for performance aspects Task 5 Engineering support to several projects, the service provider will attend project reviews for EGNOS e.g. system and subsystem reviews at algorithm level, NAVISP activities lead by the EGNOS Project Office, etc Task 6 Engineering support to manage the provision of the system technical external interfaces related to EGNOS V3 performance qualification e.g. CFIs for scenarios, real data, feared events definition Task 7 Engineering support for all performancerelated aspects addressed in the frame of the Galileo EGNOS Working Group GEWG Support to EGNOS Project Office contribution in the Galileo OS SafetyofLife GOSOL Critical assessment of GNSS threats impact modelling definition and justification at SBASs level Task 8 Engineering Support to the assessment of innovative performance related concepts and features, particularly during EGNOS phase ABC project phases. Task 9 Engineering support in preparing and following up industrial tasks and developments in support of EGNOS system performance engineering from early concept to system qualification, including development of performance simulation and analysis tools e.g. follow up pf System Technical Assistance to ESA STA performance related work packages executed during the EGNOS v3 Phase CD Task 10 Engineering support in managing and coordinating the Divisions Augmentation System Performance and Algorithm Laboratory ASPAL to foster the internal technical capabilities in regards to GNSS signal processing and augmentation algorithms techniques SW simulation modelling Multimission standards crossacceptance Certification process optimisation Definition of new software platform and tools for supporting the future needs of the Division Task 11 Engineering support to develop and coordinate system performance engineering analyses based on simulations Task 12 Engineering Support to the management of several RD projects related to GNSS SIS monitoring and EGNOS SIS threat analysis and characterisation.
