With max power rating of 1,243 hp at 1,800 rpm, HP1200 hydraulically actuated power take-off (PTO) has modular design that allows for both side-load (P) and in-line (I) applications via change of bearing carriers. Control system for smooth engagement of driven equipment is standard, and auxiliary drive pump towers, with 400 hp max capacity per tower (550 hp max for both), are rotatable by 0°, 45°, and 90° clockwise or counter-clockwise. Optional speed ratios are available.

Available on Ford or Freightliner chassis, HTV PTO Hydro Truck Vac Series features debris tanks ranging from 300–1,500 gallons. Power Take Off drives positive displacement vacuum blowers that produce 1,000–2,600 cfm. Units are standard with high pressure water system, full hydraulic rear claw door, reverse pressure, and Big Red filter housing that cleans air down to 0.5 microns before it passes back through vacuum pump. Air compressors and hydraulic booms are also available on most units.

BIO Issues Statement on PTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board ruling.

Regarding recent ruling issued by PTO's Patent Trial and Appeal Board, BIO called the failure of PTO's Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) to properly assess important issues raised by said motion "disappointing." In addition to calling this ruling "cursory and erroneous," BIO said it "reinforces the immediate need for Congress and the PTO leadership to take clear and decisive action to prevent any further misuse and abuse of the Inter Partes Review process"

ASABE Revises 3 Standards for PTO operating requirements.

ASABE announced completion of 3 standards projects — adoption of two ISO standards and revision of one ASABE document — related to Type 4 power take-off (PTO) specifications. ANSI/ASABE AD 500-1:2014 consists of adoption with modifications of identically titled ISO 500-1:2014, and ASABE/ISO 500-3:2014 is identical adoption of ISO document of same name. ASAE S207.13 includes Type 4 PTO requirements and such changes as updates to normative references.
