Respectively available in 24-pin, 4 x 4 mm QFN package and 16-pin, 5 x 6.4 mm HTSSOP, DRV8846 and DRV8848 reduce spin-up time to seconds. DRV8846 incorporates adaptive current control technology and 1/32 micro-stepping indexer to automatically tune motor performance for precise, smooth, and quiet motion. DRV8848 can operate without current sense resistors and simplifies designs by using PWM control interface and minimal external components. Both models are fully fault protected.
