The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry has set-up its regional Asian office in Hong Kong and has appointed Helen Ford as the senior executive director, WFSGI Asia. Helen Ford has joined the WFSGI on April 1, 2015 and will be responsible for further developing WFSGI services to manufacturers and brands in the Asian region and to intensify the relationship with their Asian and Oceania national and regional federations.

Ford Motor Company has issued four new recalls in North America, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has taken the unusual step of issuing its own statement - urging Ford owners to get these recalled vehicles in for repair as soon as possible. First, about 518,313 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ vehicles from model years 2013 to 2015 are being recalled for bolts on steering gear motor attachments that can corrode, crack and break - and leave the driver in manual steering mode.
