Contractor cited following Marion GM plant death

The Indiana Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued a safety order and $12,600 penalty following the July death of a Marion worker, Call 6 Investigator Kara Kenney reported. The July 1 chemical explosion at a General Motors metal-stamping plant in Indiana killed contractor James L. Gibson, 48, and injured five other people, authorities said.
