Intended for use beneath screens in such applications as tablets, laptops, and flat screen TVs, thermal foil products conduct heat away from internal electronic components and batteries to help maximize performance. Thicknesses from 5–40 µm with thermal conductivity ratings from 800–1,700 W/m-K increase design flexibility for manufacturers. Also suitable for EMI shielding, various grades are available and can be customized for handheld devices and other products.

Offered in 2 grades, Plexiglas® MC Diffusion provides LED luminaire OEMs and optics suppliers with uniform light diffusion and transmission. Plexiglas® MC Diffusion 100, offering smooth sheet surface, provides 87% light transmission, while Plexiglas® MC Diffusion 200 with textured surface provides 84% light transmission. Both grades come in standard thicknesses of 0.080–0.118 in. and provide greater than 95% haze for light source hiding capability.
