The Position We are looking for someone with an excellent knowledge of ground station concepts and software. However, the main responsibility is to build a section that offers a longterm perspective for the staff and a sustainable and growing business for the company! As a section head you will both work on projects as well as manage the section, the allocation being flexible depending on the current focus. The management activity have two distinct themes Strategy and Planning. You formulate the vision and strategy with your team, inline with direction of the company. Delivery and Team. You are responsible for the deliveries of the projects within your section. This includes resource planning both allocation and recruitment and monitoring of projects and being the supervisor of the section team. The direct line of reporting will be to the Division Head, but you are encouraged to contribute to all parts of the organization. The section size is measured in number of staff and should be between 5 and 15. The ultimate measure of your success will be that the section will grow to a size where it will have to be split!
