This position, based near Frankfurt in Germany, is for a graduate Consultant with at least 5 years experience in the field of engineering of space andor ground systems in the area of Earth observation from space including 3 years involvement in the preparation andor execution of VV activities at System level or at Ground Segment level. Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. The successful candidate will be part of the LEO division working on the EPSSG Preparatory Programme and will typically be involved with tasks related to the planning and preparation of system VV activities. The key experience and skills sought are University degree in engineering, physics or equivalent At least 5 years experience in the field of engineering of space andor ground systems in the area of Earth observation from space 3 years involvement in the preparation andor execution of VV activities at System level or at Ground Segment level Experience with the preparation of test plans, test specifications andor test procedures, prepared for VV of such systems The following would be beneficial Experience with Satellite System Validation Tests andor RF test campaigns Hands on experience with the development of test tools and compilation of test data sets Proficiency in using DOORS Background related to Low Earth Orbit LEO systems The working language is English.
