We require new staff, wishingto work in a dynamic international environment for the following position Software Engineer Avionics and Embedded Systems AESSAJOB007 You will join the Avionics and Embedded Systems Team at our main offices in Zaventem, Belgium. Occasional travel abroad for meetings or short colocations may be required. Tasks and Responsibilities You will participate in software development projects and RD activities, taking part in all phases of the project from the definition to the validation and acceptance. You will be responsible for developing the project products, including software and the associated documentation, according to standards and best practices. You will interact with our customers and participate in the preparation of proposals. Qualifications and Experience For this position we expect you to have a Masters degree or an equivalent level of experience in Software Engineering or a related discipline, and the following experience and skills Two years of experience in critical software development, preferably in the space domain Programming skills in C and C Knowledge of realtime operating systems and multithreaded applications Experience writing technical documentation requirements specification, system and software design, test plan, etc. Experience using software quality assurance tools for unit testing, software static analysis, coding standards checking, etc. Knowledge of software modelling techniques UML, AADL, etc. and technologies EMF is desirable Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written Conditions Please apply via email using the contact information below, providing us with your 1 Motivation Letter and 2 CV in English, mentioning AESSAJOB007 in the email subject.
