ispace Japan is seeking an experienced propulsion engineer to lead technical procurement of several key components. ispace is a leading microrobotics Japanese company with a subsidiary in the United States and Europe. ispaces Hakuto rover won the Google XPRIZE mobility milestone award. ispaces lunar lander is its next step towards prospecting for, mining and utilizing lunar resources to expand human presence in space. The ideal candidate will have experience of bipropellant component procurement, including assessment of test data, requirement verification and supplier management. The role will involve interacting with suppliers on a daily basis and the possibility of travel to supplier premises. The candidate should be capable of working independently, have good time management skills and organisation to maintain the schedule of propulsion component suppliers.
