Consumers will buy an additional 20,000 new cars next year if the economy continues to grow as expected, a new report has predicted. That would push new-car registrations towards 120,000 - more than 20,000 up on this year's projected 97,000 and a leap of 45,000 or so on last year's low levels.

Following the market opening Tuesday, the Dow traded up 0.46 percent to 16,474.87 while the NASDAQ surged 1.33 percent to 4,373.45. The S&P also rose, gaining 1.05 percent to 1,924.06.

By U.S. Meat Export Federation Staff Brazil trails only the European Union, the United States and Canada in pork exports, but its fourth place is a distant one, with last years exports totaling 509,773 metric tons, less than half of Canadas 2013 exports.
