The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality says residents on Farm to Market 2138 from County Road 3106 to a mile south of the intersection with County Road 3141 need to boil their water until further notice. This area includes County Roads 3106 and 3107, Private Road 3107, Spur 3141, and all county roads that adjoin these.

Water boil notice issued for parts of Cherokee County

Due to conditions which have occurred recently in the water system, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the system, to notify all the customers involved in the repair area to boil their water prior to consumption. The area included in this boil water notice is from the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 747 south & County Road 3211 continue traveling south on Farm-to-Market Road 747 south up to the intersection of County Road 3114.

Dirty Bird Bar and Grill must boil water

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality has advised the Dirty Bird Bar and Grill, located in Cleveland County, to inform users of its drinking water to use water that has been brought to a full, rolling boil for at least one minute, or to use bottled water or water from another acceptable source for consumption, food preparation, dishwashing and brushing teeth. This advisory was issued due to the presence of E. coli.
