A final inspection by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality the morning of Thursday, January 14, determined the city of Marlin will have met all requirements set forth by the TCEQ to lift the longstanding boil water order. Due to mechanical failure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required our water system City of Wells ID# 0370004 to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. The only structures effective by this water line break include all residential and commercial property receiving water from the City of Wells.
