Water company issues boil water notice for Jacksonville residents

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required Craft-Turney Water Supply to notify all the customers involved in the repair area to boil their water prior to consumption. The area included in this boil water notice is: from the intersection of FM 22 south and CR 1517, continue east on FM 22 including the north end of county road 1514 up to the intersection of CR 1515.

City of Savoy under boil water order

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requires the City of Savoy to issue a boil water order due to low chlorine in the water system and low pressure due to flushing fire hydrants. The water used for drinking, cooking and making ice should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil, boiled for two minutes, then cooled for use.

Due to a recent water main leak, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required our water system, City of Howe to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use.
