Totalizing Water Meters meet material safety, lead-free standards.
2016-02-25 14:31:05| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Available for pipe sizes from 5/8–2 in. and suitable for sub-metering applications with respective flow ranges of .22–22 gpm and .25–160 gpm, CLXC-P (single-jet) and MJ-SDC (multi-jet) meet ANSI/NSF 61 for materials safety and ANSI/NSF 372 for lead free compliance. CLXC-P meters are rated for cold water to 122°F and hot water applications to +140°F, while MJ-SDC meters are rated for cold water to 122°F. Both meters have 150 psi max operating pressure and 1.5% nominal accuracy.

How To Reduce Methane Emissions With Thermal Mass Flow Meters
2016-02-18 09:51:29| oilandgasonline Home Page
The flare gas discussion is heating up again. According to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), U.S. oil production is at an all-time high, and so are the harmful methane emissions from leaks, flaring and venting. U.S. Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell has proposed to update 30-year-old regulations in order to reduce the excess release of natural gas into the atmosphere from oil and gas operations on public and American Indian lands.

Hydro One can't get Wi-Fi signal from 36,000 smart meters; will read manually
2016-01-14 09:03:05| Energy - Topix.net
Ontario's opposition parties say it's no surprise that Hydro One has to manually read thousands of electricity smart meters because the devices can't get a wireless signal. Hydro One says 36,000 smart meters in rural areas cannot get a strong enough Wi-Fi connection to transmit usage data, so service people will have to physically show up to read those meters, and the customers can't take advantage of time-of-use pricing.
