Tasks and Responsibilities Development and implementation of EGNOS Prediction Chain Facility PCF navigational and common library functions in C AIV activities related to library functions Implementation and validation of algorithm functions in interaction with Algorithm Engineer Support to validation activities related to integrated algorithmic functions within the testbed Contribution to test activities and detailed data investigation Support to algorithm performance qualification process Contribution to definition of test scenarios, test conditions, execution of test and reporting. Client and Location For one of our customers we are currently recruiting a RadioNavigation Engineer for GNSS Receivers Verification for their location in Taufkirchen, Germany. As part of the GNSS Applications Team the jobholder contributes to the development and verification of future Galileo locationbased services. In that role the jobholder will be involved in various activities e.g. define, implement and test navigation algorithms, products and features. With more than 60 engineers and almost 20 years of experience, the Airbus Navigation Department is one of the leading expert groups in Europe for the development and implementation of the European satellite navigation systems EGNOS and Galileo. Tasks and Responsibilities Coordinate the team for Galileo NonPRS user segment support activities Create and maintain the Galileo NonPRS user segment support work plan and provide progress reports, system engineering documents and technical reports Define, plan and conduct test campaigns laboratory and outdoor for commercial receivers and other navigation devices e.g. device for emergency call in the massmarket domain Evaluate test campaign results, provide feedback to manufacturers and to the user communities e.g. road, rail, maritime, agriculture, etc. Establish performance benchmarks for typical receiver figures of merit and GNSS systems GALILEO, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, QZSS Understand the progress in the usage of GNSS signals with focus on GALILEO services for massmarket receivers Present the achieved results in front of international customers and industrial partners at technical meetings, symposia and conferences. Job Description For one of our clients we are looking for an Optical Verification Test Engineer for their location near Munich. This role is to support the optical instrument projects in the field of engineering and technical procurement of optical ground support equipment and metrology tools. Main tasks involve performing optical tests and measurements in the context of the verification of instruments and critical technologies in the optics laboratory. Tasks and Responsibilities Support to engineering activities during AIVT phases focus on optical ground support equipment OGSE and metrology tools in collaboration coordination with other AIT activities Optical test operations Assembly of test setups for optical tests eg wave front error, polarization, stray light, etc. OGSE and optical metrology operations during instrument assembly integration test AIT campaigns Modification adaptation of existing software and tools as required for optical tests Execution of optical tests using the optics laboratory facilities, including thermalvacuum chambers Evaluation and reporting of test data.
