Deputy Simulations Officer SWARM Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing satellite operations and ground station tracking network services to its users. As part of the SWARM mission team you will be responsible for Supporting the Simulations Officer in the delivery of training in various stages of ESA missions including assistance with simulator breakpoint preparation testing of contingencies writing briefing and debriefing messages running simulations Supporting the development of the training concept and associated Simulation Plan to train the Mission Control including planning and developing failure cases of increasing difficulty to be introduced into the simulations Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in engineering, physics or another similar discipline Several years experience in spacecraft andor operational applications, preferably also in the area of training Familiarity with operational training and operational simulators, ideally SimSat Familiarity with satellite control systems, ideally SCOS2000 Familiarity with programmingscripting languages e.g. C, Java, JavaScript Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Experience in operational training and instructional design methodologies would be an asset Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
