We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to contribute to Mission Operation solutions for leading European space missions. We are already involved in one such mission and this is where you would start for the first year. Summary An opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to work onsite at ESTEC in the Earth Observation Directorate for Telespazio VEGA UK. Objective To contribute to the technical management of existing and new multiplatform software developments within the DEOPPE Division in ESTEC, in coordination with the Head of Mission Analysis and of Ground System offices. The existing Earth Observation CFI software is a collection of precompiled C libraries for timing, coordinate conversions, orbit propagation, satellite pointing calculations, and target visibility calculations.
