Job Type Permanent Location Moray Forres Orbex has an immediate opportunity for or a Project Administrator Planner to join their team on a fulltime permanent basis. The successful candidate will be part of an exciting team within the space manufacturing sector unique to the North of Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity with key responsibilities to include Development and maintenance of project documentation including risk register Change Control documentation and related items Project plan set up and maintenance Programme scheduling and tracking Work package breakdowns Milestone adherence Resource estimation and allocation Cost estimation Analysis of critical paths Project risks and slippage Actual cost of work performed Reporting The ideal Project Administrator Planner will Have experience of working within a projectbased role Project Planning or Project Management Have experience of working within an industrial environment Be able to demonstrate a pragmatic attitude and achieve reliable results Have strong experience in MS Project ideally, although experience in other packages such as Primavera will also be considered The Project Administrator Planner will work full time hours set between Monday to Friday and earn a negotiable salary depending on relevant experience plus receive an additional benefits package which will be discussed on appointment. Experience in the space industry is not a pre requisite but previous experience and interest in the sector is welcome. This is a permanent position, calling for at least five years experience of project planning in complex environments. You will be placed on assignment based near Frankfurt in Germany for several years. Candidates should ideally be available to start in July 2015. Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. Vast quantities of data are produced and user communities throughout the world are able to access both current and historical data sets. The demanding realtime environment places much emphasis on adherence to quality and configuration management standards and procedures. The main working language is English and candidates must be fluent in both reading and writing but knowledge of French also would be advantageous. The jobholder will focus on defining and maintaining the system development logic, schedule and all subsystem interactions. The key experience and attributes sought are A University degree or equivalent, preferably in a management or engineering discipline At least five years proven handson experience in project planning, scheduling, monitoring and control for system development Demonstrated ability to define system development logic and schedules and implement them Demonstrated ability to understand the technical aspects of system components and their development constraints Expert level usage of Microsoft Project or similar project schedulingplanning and management tools Extensive experience in using the Microsoft Office suite and in particular Word and Excel..
