Apple Pay Takes to Skies via JetBlue

JetBlue Airways said Monday that it plans to be the first major domestic carrier in the U.S. to accept the Apple Pay payment service during its flights. Any passenger with an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and soon Apple Watch can use Apple Pay to make premium purchases on such items as snack boxes, beverages, onboard amenities and even more spacious seating.

Apple takes top spot in Chinese smartphone market - data firm

Apple Inc has shipped the most number of smartphones in China in the fourth quarter, overtaking Samsung Electronics Co Ltd and homegrown companies such as Xiaomi [XTC.UL] for the first time, according to data firm Canalys. Apple's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus launched last September have proved to be popular in Asia despite being costlier than most handsets.

The Take: Rackspace stock takes a dip and Apple reports big sales of iPhone 6

Shares of Rackspace Hosting fell 4.2 percent in early market trading to $36.91 after being downgraded from "overweight" to "neutral" by JPMorgan Chase. The firm cited a potential upside as high as $50 a share if a proposed sale to CenturyLink happens, versus a fall back to the pre-sale level of $30 if nothing happens.
