A woman from southwest suburban Frankfort died Friday evening after she was thrown from a motorcycle on which she was a passenger during a collision with another motorcycle at the entrance of a downstate rest area, according to Illinois State Police. Giedre Pyzik, 51, was a passenger on a 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by an Oak Lawn man, according to a news release from state police.
