Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane announced today her office has filed a lawsuit against three Philadelphia-area car dealerships and their president Dean Cafiero of Philadelphia. Cafiero, who has dealerships in Montgomery County, including CarVision.com in Norristown, and Philadelphia, is alleged to have "sold and leased used cars at inflated process, used deceptive business practices and sold vehicles that were not roadworthy," according to a press release.

Two MTSU students reported nearly becoming victims of check fraud schemes within three days of each other earlier this month. On Tuesday, February 3, a 19-year-old female student told University police that she had received an email in reference to a job with Aramark, the food company that services the MTSU, several weeks earlier.
