The successful applicant will join Secure Comms Planning Performance Management. Please note that the work location will be Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. The Finance Manager will support the GSOp management in the full range of service operations from planning and analysis to commercial for the Galileo Service Operator GSOp activities of Airbus Defence and Space. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Leading the finance part of bidding proposal design in close cooperation with the divisional departmentscompetence centres and reviewsign off of offerschange notes to ensure profitable order backlog and at an acceptable level of business risk, incl. costing, guarantees, hedging etc. Owning the financial transactions required to the GSOp activities, incl. cost allocations and payments from the customer and to suppliers Owning the business plan for the GSOp business activities across all countries and reporting and update as required OP Forecasts and ensuring consistency with the work breakdown structure and with the industrial organisation and contractual set up of the programme Owning the EVM and EAC and externalcustomer reporting processes for the GSOp business activities and ensure compliance with all external and internal requirements at any time Maintaining yearend forecast and reporting of cash in particular into the business cluster based on margininbacklog costatcompletions views Working closely with the Head of GSOp to inform a about any deviations from the business plan Owning the risk and opportunity management process for the GSOp activities and inform about arising risk and opportunities Contributing to the monthly reportingclosing including comprehensive business analysis of profitability split of volume, price, cost and NRC, FXeffects and of cash generation split into gross cash flow and working capital, capex Ensuring availability of financial systems appropriate incl. setup master data meeting all transactional and reporting requirements for the GSOp activities We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to degree level in Finance with a specialisation in Controlling or a technical degree with additional finance qualification Very good understanding of finance processes, performance indicators and project business model Experience in Service Business with strong customer orientation and get it doneattitude Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel, PowerPoint, Business Warehouse and SAP Strong sense of financial analysis and synthesis Intercultural team player with strong communication skills Highly selfmotivated and used to work under pressure Negotiation level in English Please apply online for this vacancy at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached. In this department a dedicated team is supporting Commercial Europe and the Global Data Mobility Service team. To strengthen this team we are looking for a Senior Manager Finance with prime responsibility to support the Data Mobility Service team and potentially other commercial teams in Central Western Europe by providing them with the financial framework to implement the data mobility service DMS CWE profitable growth strategy and objectives in line with the SES business plan. In this position the incumbent will play a key role in the achievement of the DMSsCWE objectives, working closely with the DMSCWE Head and the Sales team, Legal and Financial Operations through proactive finance support embedded locally. Responsibilities Work as a business partner with the DMS CWE Head, Sales Legal teams and provide proactive financial support to the achievement of the regional objectives Actively participate in customer negotiations Prepare financial analysis, business modelling and managementcustomer presentations as required to support customer proposals and contracts in the region Provide financial support to data mobility sales team Provide financial input and approvals on customer proposals, contracts and amendments relating to deals in the Region Ensure that delegation of authority and approval limits e.g. discount approval matrix are respected by the Regional Head and Sales team Maintain a close dialogue with the Head of Sales Support and Head of Financial Operations on key Regional financial matters Monitor manage regional credit risk receivables, working closely with the Credit Collections team Provide reporting on revenues new business, renewals, total revenues and other key metrics, in coordination with the Financial Operations team Coordinate input for forecasts, budgets business plans Be jointly responsible for the DMS CWE Revenuescosts, together with the DMS CWE Head Responsibility for compliant procurement processes according to procurement policy and with usage of financial system Responsibility for controlling DMS CWE OPEX saving target Be a key contributor to the Financial Operations team Work on other Finance projects as required by the Vice President Finance, Support to Commercial Competencies Strong commercial negotiations skills, strategic awareness and business acumen Strong communication and presentation skills Strong process skills required, in particular for the sales process and financial systems Ability to manage results across different levels in the organisation Ability to integrate into an international environment Good people influencing skills including the ability to inter phase effectively with external customers and internal counterparts Handson approach to responsibilities Ability to build and to maintain relationships at all levels of the organisation Qualifications Experience Master degree in Finance or equivalent, Chartered Accountant Minimum of seven years of working experience with a proven track record in a similar finance role with a commercial focus Experience in corporate finance, andor contract negotiations, andor controlling is a must Strong financial accounting background with proven financial planning skills and with a mastering of NPV concepts and calculations Experience in financial planning analysis Fluency in written and spoken English is required, knowledge of another language is an asset Other Requirements Willingness to travel Our Offer Competitive salary package, coupled with a diverse array of challenges and development benefits.
